Notice regarding a security incident at our invoicing provider
On 28 September 2026 Fakturownia sp. z o.o., the operator of the Polish invoicing service fakturownia.pl, discovered a breach of its systems. An unauthorised party copied a large part of the service database. The incident affects every account in the service. Full statement: https://fakturownia.pl/incydent
We use Fakturownia to issue invoices. Data we entered there, including our customers' company details, contact details, bank account numbers shown on invoices and invoice amounts, may therefore be among the copied data.
Our own websites, applications, servers and e-mail were not affected. Neither Bartecki® Energy systems nor the EVO-CODE® software supporting our customer service was targeted or involved.
What we did: two-factor authentication was already in place on all accounts; after the incident we reviewed every access, issued new keys and passwords, verified account settings and bank account numbers, reported the breach to the Polish Data Protection Authority (UODO) and requested detailed information from the provider. Our e-mail domains were already protected against spoofing (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
What we ask: our bank account number has not changed. If you receive any message about a new account number or an unexpected payment request in our name, do not pay and call us on +48 791 301 671, using the number you already know. Do not open unexpected attachments or links and never share passwords or codes.
